Happy Birthday 'Murica!

So this week we can say Happy Birthday to this country. That's pretty cool! And this week I also said hello (which is kind of the same thing as happy birthday) to my new companion! Sister Driesel! She is 21 and from a small town in Idaho called Kuna. She knew what Malad was and so I trusted that she is from a small town.

This week was a week of miracles and I would just like to say that without Heavenly Father I would not have gotten through it. Being the one who knows the area and having to teach someone new is pretty different and even scary. These are real people with real lives and we are trying to teach them a message that will change their lives. It can be overwhelming at times but I know that when we get on our knees and pray that He is always there.

I hope everyone has a great week and set off some rad fireworks for me!

Hello!

So hello family! I hope everyone is having a super week! So transfers are tomorrow! And I am staying here in Muncie, but Sister Benjamin is getting transferred and she got the leadership call to be Sister Training Leader! I am super excited for her to go and help train the sisters of this mission but I am sad that she won't be my companion anymore.

This week has been amazing! Our investigator G is progressing so well. He has such a great testimony and is learning more each day. We have another lesson with him tonight and I am really excited for it!

This week we also spent time serving C (who was baptized in May) out on his farm chopping down some trees and it was so much fun! Elder Chamberlain was on exchanges with the Assistant Elder Martin and we have the best assistants ever! They really care so much about this mission.

I hope that everyone has a super week! The work here is progressing so much and there are miracles in every day!

Happy Father's Day!

I hope everyone had a stellar Father's day yesterday! I am so thankful to have the best dad in the whole world! And I am so thankful for the priesthood and the power of priesthood blessings and the worthy priesthood holders that have been in my life.

So this week we had dinner at B's house and she is an excellent cook and she made a cake for Father's day. In honor of Heavenly Father. She is just the best!

Last week we went biking on the greenway here in Muncie for a district fun day and today we are having a zone day fun day and transfers are next Tuesday! So there is a lot going on here, just not a lot of time for writing home. But lots of exciting things are happening and our investigators are so super!

I hope everyone has a super week and if you are wondering where Sister Brown II is reading in the Book of Mormon right now you should check out Mosiah 2 and Alma 23! Super great places to be reading!

I love you all and pray for you!

Words of the Week!

1. BAPTISM!
B got BAPTIZED!!! Saturday June 7th at 7pm B was baptized! She is so amazing and totally the elect. She bore her testimony after she had been baptized and the spirit was so strong! She is deeply rooted in the Book of Mormon and she has a strong testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. She really wants to come out teaching with us and share her story with others too. Man she is just so amazing!

2. VIOLIN
So I played a violin this week. Brother Logan let me borrow one of his and it is really nice and plays just like the one I have back home! I played for Zone Meeting with Elder Chamberlain on violin too and we played "A Child's Prayer". And then at Bonnie's baptism I played "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief" with Sister Benjamin singing and Sister Denison playing the piano. It was so awesome and I am so thankful for this talent. So thank you mom for all the lessons and hours spent practicing with me. You are the best.

3. BECOMING
This week I have been thinking a lot about the word becoming. And who I am becoming. Who my investigators are becoming. It is a process. And I am so thankful for the Atonement that makes it possible for me to become like my Father in Heaven.

I hope everyone has a fantastic week! The Atonement is real and we can use it each and every day. We are here to become more than we are right now. I love you all with my whole heart!

Magical Monday!
So today we got a little more creative with who we were going to be! I am Grandmother Willow and Sister Benjamin is the Beast since her arm got attacked by a tree during a service project... So I did a fun tree yoga pose for the picture!

AND THERE ARE SO MANY REASONS TO CELEBRATE THIS WEEK!
Happy Birthday to Elder Solomon today! And David Bowers tomorrow! And Mandi LeFevre on Wednesday! And GRACE BROWN the best little sister on SATURDAY! And Happy Father's Day on Sunday! To the dad who is best in the west! I love you so much!

I hope everyone has a splendid day and a week full of celebrations! I love you all SO MUCH!

MIRACLES!!

So this week was a week of mysterious miracles! On Monday which was Memorial Day we had a finding challenge to go out and find as many families as possible! And as a mission we found 234 new investigators IN ONE DAY! That is crazy people! Crazy awesome! Heavenly Father is aware of us and when we put our trust in Him NOTHING is impossible!

So Memorial Day morning the Muncie 2nd ward has a breakfast and 5k and it was so much fun! Our investigator B WHO IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY came and got some sweet fellowship from the ward! It was awesome!

So this week also we had zone conference and we got some awesome training on how to be better missionaries! It was really great and the new assistants of our mission, Elder Fivas and Elder Martin are just the best! The Ohio Cincinnati Mission really is the best in the world! (Sorry to those who are serving in Germany (: I still love you!)

And last night. At about 6pm we get a call from an investigator who asks if we can come over right away to help him move some stuff. We asked if it could wait but he said it was urgent and so we scheduled to stop by at 8pm since that was the earliest we could get there. So we show up and he wants us to move a fridge. From the upstairs apartment down the street to his house... We were not really prepared nor strong enough to do that so we called the zone leaders, Elder Carter and Elder Chamberlain who serve in our same area and they came with a recent convert C who is amazing! They totally helped us out and they were there so late but they finally got it down the stairs and to our investigators houses! So today we got them their favorite cereals and made them into "thank you fridges"! Best zone leaders ever!

So just in case anyone is wondering what I look like during email time... Just imagine Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs typing. Literally that is how my hands feel! And it makes me chuckle to think of him typing.

I hope you all have a great week! Don't forget that Heavenly Father loves you! And so does Sister Brown II!
