Hello family!

To start things off...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SPRING AND GRANDPA!! I know I missed it but this is probably as good as it gets for the crazy missionary life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SCOTT ON FRIDAY!! AND HAPPY ADOPTION DAY TO MY FAVORITE LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!!! Man so much to celebrate this week!!

To keep the celebrations going, I HAVE BEEN IN THE MTC FOR ONE WEEK! It is crazy that I have only been here one week! My companion is Sister Swenson. She is from Canada and like the way up there part by Alaska. She is so thoughtful and good with words. She helps me to explain things better to our investigators. She is amazing!

I LOVE pinning on my name tag each morning and seeing my name next to the Saviors. I have waited for what seems like forever to be able to wear His name on a tag! It is one of the best parts of my day!

The other best time is gym time. The track is hotter than Hades' summer home and who knows why it is heated but it sure makes me sweat a lot! Gym time is inspired time. Sometimes it is the best stress reliever. Just to go on a run.

Also. People say that the bathroom is the only place you can be alone and find that time for yourself. They must not be taking advantage of personal prayer time. I seriously look forward to kneeling down each morning after the alarm goes off and before I crawl into bed. That time that I get to talk to my Heavenly Father about anything and everything is precious time to me. I. Love. It.

The poly elders that go around harmonizing hymns are also a favorite of mine. Oh and choir is AMAZING! The Brother who leads it is so great and he really makes you think about the hymns and what they mean. It is more of an engaged discussion than a singing practice. It is amazing!!!! Sister Swenson and I went and we sang in the devotional last night "Hark All Ye Nations".

This is probably a jumbled mess. I am not used to "anxiety hour" of emailing! Sister Brown prepped me and gave me tips because she warned me it goes fast! Holy cow yes it does!

I have to head over to the 1M building to send pictures though so you know I am still alive.

Cincinnati Maddie...or Sister Brown goes to the MTC

 Cincinnati-bound Maddie...now Sister Brown

Of course we have to do some jumping photos...Maddie insisted!~

Saying goodbye: this isn't any easier the second time around!

And then we were at the MTC. She was escorted by Elder Waters, a kiwi headed to Albania.  He was so kind! Have fun and work hard Sister Brown! Cincinnati is getting something great!
